CSSR faculty and staff conduct original academic research as principal investigators and in partnership with faculty and researchers at Notre Dame and across the world. CSSR faculty and staff routinely publish academic journal articles and books, obtain external grant funding, and present research at conferences.
Recent research has appeared in Assessment in Education: Principles, Policy & Practice, Computers & Education, European Journal of Psychological Assessment, JMIR mHealth and uHealth, Journal of Educational Measurement, Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties, Journal of STEM Education Research, Social Science Quarterly, and Western Journal of Nursing Research.
Recent successful research funding has been obtained from Blue Cross/Blue Shield Florida, Institute for Education Sciences, Lilly Endowment, MIT Election Data + Science Lab, National Science Foundation, and Spencer Foundation.
