We invite student posters for presentation at the Lucy Annual Celebration. The event is set to take place on Thursday, Sep 14th, from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
During the pre-evening event hour, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, the student poster presentation & hors d’oeuvres will inaugurate the celebration. We are excited to receive posters showcasing research that propels data innovations, making a significant impact on society and individual lives.
Particularly, we encourage posters focusing on the following topics:
- Data Science
- AI & Machine Learning
- Data Engineering
- Computing
- Human-Technology Interface
- Health Equity
- Analytics
- Geospatial Analysis
- Quantitative Social Science
- Ethics

Students interested in presenting a poster at the Lucy Annual Celebration Poster Presentation should complete the student poster presentation registration form.
To submit a poster for the Lucy Annual Celebration:
For posters with a single author:
Include on your poster registration the poster’s title, a brief abstract describing the poster theme in 250 words or less, and submit your name as you’d like it to appear on the poster competition voting system the day of the event.
For group poster entries:
For group entries, one student, acting as the corresponding author, should submit on the poster registration, the poster’s title, a brief abstract, and a list of all the groups’ authors’ names as you’d like them to appear on the poster. Please also include all contributors who wish to attend the Lucy Annual Celebration.

All poster entrants are welcome to use the event’s optional poster template if you would like the Institute to print the poster. We are facilitating poster printing at no cost to students for those that use the template to ensure ease of participation and email your submission to lucyinstitute@nd.edu by September 7th. Students are also free to print their own (recommended size of 36 in x 48 in) as long as they deliver their printed poster to Flanner 610 by the deadline of Monday, September 11th at 5 PM.
