Biography
Matthew Belcher is an AETL Software Engineer for the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, followed by an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Before joining Notre Dame, Matthew worked as a software engineer for a variety of high-frequency trading companies, including Citadel Securities, and was a principal software engineer and first employee at the start-up company Integral Technology. Matthew is excited to apply the skills he learned processing large data in his previous career toward research and community-focused projects.
