Dr. Sobin Alosious is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society, focusing on machine learning for material discovery using molecular dynamics simulations. He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, The University of Queensland on optimizing thermal and electrical properties of supercapacitors.

Dr. Alosious earned his PhD in Nanofluidics jointly from IIT Madras and Swinburne University, where his research focused on the study of interfacial thermal transport in nanoconfined fluids. He also holds an M.Tech in Thermal Science from Kerala University and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University. His research interests include nanofluidics, molecular dynamics, nanoscale energy transport, interfacial thermal transport, and statistical mechanics.
