Ali Altiok is a Ph.D. student in Peace Studies and Political Science. His research focuses on youth political inclusion, repression, and the digitalization of peace processes. Previously, Ali worked for over five years as a research consultant for the United Nations and as a policy officer and coordinator for several international peacebuilding organizations in New York. He holds B.A. in Philosophy from the Middle East Technical University (Turkey), an M.A. in Political, Legal, and Economic Philosophy from the University of Bern (Switzerland), and an M.A. in Peace and Security Studies from the University of Hamburg (Germany).
