Jonathan Karr

Biography

Jonathan Karr is a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department at the University of Notre Dame. Jonathan received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame in 2024. His current research focuses on bias detection and mitigation in large language models, with an emphasis on topics including homelessness and faith. His broader research interests include data mining, LLMs, and graph learning. During his undergraduate summers, he interned at Qualcomm, supporting their audio software development group. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys running and is passionate about leveraging data for societal impact.
