This workshop will go over some of the basics of using spatial data in the R programming language, primarily using the sf package. Basic tasks like opening and using shapefiles and georeferenced raster images will be outlined. No previous experience with GIS data is assumed, but some background in using R and Rstudio is encouraged.
This workshop will be offered in-person in 246 Hesburgh Library.
This workshop requires a minimum of 10 registrants. Fewer than 10 registrants by the registration deadline will result in the workshop being cancelled. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified.
