The Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society at the University of Notre Dame is thrilled to host the inaugural RISE AI Conference from October 6–8, 2025, at the University of Notre Dame.
Regular registration will close on September 5, 2025. Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required.

Registration Category Definitions:
- Trainee attendees must be full-time, currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students, or postdoctoral scholars affiliated with a university.
- University faculty and staff attendees include faculty, researchers, and administrative staff from any accredited college or university, including those outside the University of Notre Dame.
- Government attendees include individuals employed by federal, state, or local government agencies, intergovernmental organizations, and public sector administrators.
- Non-profit attendees should be affiliated with 501(c)(3) organizations, research institutes, foundations, and other registered non-profit entities.
- Industry attendees include professionals from private-sector companies, such as corporations, startups, consultancies, and other for-profit organizations.
Payments
- All registrants are required to register online using credit card payments.
- Purchase orders, wire transfers, personal checks or requests for invoices are not allowed for conference registration payment.
Travel Grants
Undergraduate and graduate students who have been selected as presenters are eligible to apply for a limited number of travel grants. The link to the travel grant application will be sent directly to presenters in their acceptance notification.
Waivers
Registration waivers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To request a waiver, please contact riseaiconference@nd.edu.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Refunds requested by August 31, 2025 will be honored in full, minus any transaction fees.
- Refunds between September 1–15, 2025 will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be issued after September 15, 2025.
