Biography

Martha Aikiriza is the Institute Coordinator for the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society. She supports the Institute’s mission by coordinating daily operations, managing administrative and financial processes, and assisting with faculty, staff, and program needs across multiple research labs and initiatives. Martha also plans and oversees logistical aspects of the Institute’s events, from internal meetings to public-facing programming.

Previously, she served as the Senior Administrative Coordinator, where she supported a range of programs and initiatives, including contributing to the research and communications strategy for the now Health Data and Analtics Lab in the Program Support Specialist role. Martha holds a Master of Science in Engineering, Science, and Technology Entrepreneurship Excellence (ESTEEM) from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Makerere University, Uganda.
