Biography
Donovan Leiva is the current Research Project Coordinator at the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society. He holds a Masters degree in Global Affairs with a specialization in global health. He has several years of project management experience in international settings as well as a technical background in designing and implementing projects focused on zoonotic disease transmission. He is a firm advocate for the use of technology to aid in research, project management, monitoring and evaluation, and database management.
At Lucy, Donovan manages grant-funded projects, and fosters community, and inter-departmental engagement, including leading the planning and coordination of student-led and Lucy Institute staff-related research convening initiatives. He also facilitates project management, design, testing, and other related activities in AETL and the Notre Dame Lead Innovation Team (ND-LIT).
