Biography

Bingxue An is a PhD student in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics. She received her B.S. in Mathematics and B.S. in Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her M.S. in Statistics from the University of Chicago. Her research lies at the intersection of machine learning, data science, and applied statistics, with a current focus on combining dimension reduction and data integration techniques to enhance the stability and reliability of high-dimensional data visualizations. She aims to apply her work across a broad range of scientific fields, including genomics, astronomy, and social sciences.
