Biography

Si Chen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society. Her research focuses on AI in education and human-computer interaction, emphasizing how emerging technologies influence educational equity and accessibility through human-centered approaches. She earned a Ph.D. in Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2024 and a Bachelor of Science from Tsinghua University in 2019. In addition to her academic background, she has hands-on experience working in special education schools and related professional fields.
