Biography
Alex Thomas is a research program manager with the University of Notre Dame’s Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society. He holds a Doctoral degree from Notre Dame in Physics with a focus on Exoplanets. During his graduate student career, Alex was heavily involved in the Graduate Physics and Astronomy Society, serving on the Executive Board twice. He uses the skills learned in that role to help lead the Lucy Graduate Scholars Program, where he helps plan and coordinate student-led initiatives and helps foster a strong and welcoming community.
